Had an email exchange this morning and he thought one response was worth posting as is:
If ever there were a question about the Baby Boomers putting the last nail in the American coffin then the roster of candidates both left and right and the border are incontrovertible evidence.
Oh, and marriage. Can you imagine going back forty years and people want to know what the pivotal issues of the day are and you had to respond "the border. we can't agree we have one.----oh, and marriage...we can't figure out what that is....dogs and the retarded? fourteen people all male? we are really at loggerheads over that one..."
It's worse than Woody Allen's "sleeper."
