I have posted "A Fine Mess" as the blog title in the settings for this blog...I haven't checked if that is even taken yet so it is tentative...any objections or suggestions feel free to comment.
Also posted last night under "armscontrowonk" - We do not know where else to post a blog title related issue. Regarding “a fine mess” – the new moniker of this fine (non messy) site - You are in some umm – notable - company with that title - including - a classic 1986 Blake Edwards movie of the same name - http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0091051/ - often called Blake's renaissance masterpiece. Also the 1930 forgettable, in contrast to Blake's masterpiece "another fine Mess" - http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0020643/ - from the two flashes in a pan, Mr. Laurel and Mr. Hardy. Echoing the redundancy which the title infers, this 1930 piece was directed by a James Parrot. Though we are sure there is no truth to this speculation – certain parties are saying after a lengthy and creepy monitoring of - http://afinemess.ca/ – you “parroted” the name as a form of tribute - though both PJ, and I (who is just a scribe for the digitally challenged young chap), know this is a stretch. I guess we will conclude – given your history of almost idol worship towards Howie Mandel - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Howie_Mandel - (Ted Danson’s unfairly overshadowed costar in the Blake classic)– the name was borrowed from the Blake Edwards 1986 under rated gem - http://www.deepdiscount.com/viewproduct.htm?productId=7473980 . If you had asked PJ “Deal or No Deal?” he would have replied “Got Milk?”
I responded under armscontrolwonk a moment ago. Masterpiece? I just checked out the deepdiscount link and have my doubts. I was getting a little tired of no name and so just pointed and pulled the trigger. I can also change it in a snap. Removing the snap links was a lot peskier...
