Savin Rock

It was like it was a little Coney Island, only bigger, from what they say in the film. The West Haven/Savin Rock fire depts. have a long history as well. Seems just around recessions there was always a big fire taking out a landmark, sadly. The 1938 hurricane destroyed the roller coaster. A local girl won Miss America in 1933, she was only fifteen at the time. They instituted a minimum age not long after.

Well it's almost July 4th, God Bless America, and Coney Island looks like it will recieve a visit from Kobayashi. His condition, was it a ruse, to throw off Joey Chestnut, who just broke a record? Or will he be doping to make it through? Who knew there was an IFOCE?

And who could guess such an innocent face would bely such a ravenous machine? Her specialty is hard boiled eggs. Holy Cool Hand!

She'll be there. The event has seen scandal, this year the suspense is just coming right back up!!

I just find the history if old carnivals, sideshows, amusemnt parks and boardwalks so interesting. What connecticut needs ,and we have the real estate. Is to bring back and re-create the old amusement park / Boardwalk. Pleasant beach in bridgeport perfect spot. you cant go wrong with sideshows and freakshows like the good old days. They still do it at Coney Island.
