I have read "Scribbling the Cat" and found it very readable and interesting...The New Yorker article contained many of the salient points.
I came across "Don't Let's Go to the Dogs Tonight" and expect to find the interest and nice writing.
I have seen and read interviews with the author and if she gave a reading nearby I would certainly go out of my way to attend.
And it is worth following Instapundit's links here. Our Western self loathing media are the enemy. We all know it, now who dines with them? They should be ostracized.

Mugabe is a communist person of color. People like that are highly valued by the left wing of the boomer generation. That self loathing will be the death of the west. Thank god it is their kids who have to face it. The booomers are a generation that sould be reviled like Neville Cahmberlain.
