Drop In's

The subject of just "Dropping by" came up this week. Usually I feel uncomfortable doing it though I can accommodate it while not encouraging it. I did a drop by today and Jack dropped by this evening to cheer me up over a matter and it helped a great deal, Thank You Jack! So on the matter of 'Dop By's' everything is context dependent, just like everything else I suppose...such a confusing knot life is...all while never knowing when the Alexander technique is the most efficacious...I know Jack has been trying to square the circle the last several weeks himself...you have to be a genius or a Buddha or just an ass to feel profound confidence I guess...they say a heat wave could be moving out this way-that's about all I know...Those folks out west are seeing some serious numbers. Thank God for Willis Carrier!! Too bad the French were sluggish, those are painful numbers for the Socialist and sophisticated.

Even Guinness can be purchased "extra cold" now:

"Pioneered in 1998, our smoother, colder GUINNESS® Draught Extra Cold is the coolest thing on the bar. Experience the same powerful surge and settle that gives GUINNESS® Draught beer its uniqueness… in a crisper, colder form.

Using the same classic recipe as GUINNESS® Draught, GUINNESS® Draught Extra Cold passes through our Coldflow supercooler en route to the bar. The result is a GUINNESS® Draught that’s served 3°C cooler. With an initial malt and caramel flavour, cooler GUINNESS® Draught Extra Cold finishes with less bitterness than classic GUINNESS® Draught beer. Chilly, isn’t it?

3.5°C of Preparation

GUINNESS® Draught Extra Cold is best served at around 3.5°C (38.3°F) - that’s 2.5°C (4.5°F) or so colder than GUINNESS® Draught. Like its traditional sibling, it’s served with the legendary two-part pour. First, tilt the glass to 45 degrees and carefully pour until three quarters full. When settled, fill the glass to the brim."

Or, as we heard it:
Us: "what's the difference?"

Him: "A few degrees mate."

Oh well, nothing serious and vagueness is intentional in this post, and God Bless easygoing forgiving individuals, that's all.
