U3

I was recommended to get a U3 thumb drive to be able to use Firefox at work. It's not working but U3 has this in the trouble-shooting page. If the point of U3 is to use these applications on other computers then how can they so glibbly recommend uninstalling programs? If I was on my computer I would not need the U3.
