Years ago I picked up a
Ka-Bar made in Olean New York.
Very famous tried and true over the years these tools have earned a name that may no longer generate curiosity. But I do recall wondering where that
name originated. Ka-Bar is owned by the
company that manufactures
Cutco.

i do love cutco knives . not the prettiest thing to look at but an excellent knife none-the-less . i knew that cutco and ka-bar were made in olean and often wondered if ka-bar was made in the same place by the same people . now i know and knowing is half the battle. no pun intended .
