Don Surber
Instapundit often links to Mr. Surber and with good reason. He links to this spot-on Surber piece today.
Elana James
And the Continental Two played Tuesday for free in the park on a perfect evening. It was quite a treat, they sounded fantastic as always. She mentioned the little revelers in the "grassy mosh pit." Whit was playing his old hometown/state.
Has everyone seen
The Boingboing thread on Googlearth and it's zoom feature peering in folk's windows and on their property and at their cats??? It's been everywhere.
Also there are people who are Hollow Earthers!!! It's hard to keep up with all of the (fill in the blank)-ers out there.

Handsome Fish
Dead Goat
and breathtaking steed? Find some ground and start the competition!! It must be wonderful to be able to control a horse at that level. Here is a neat horse site with some odds and ends including horse references in American Civil War letters and Grey Dolphin, the horse that killed in fulfilment of prophecy from beyond the sandy grave.

Nomenclature
Adequate? Cladistics. More wiki. Hmmm....
Panda...--"The classification of the panda has been the subject of much debate. Some scientists thought that the giant panda should be classified with the red panda, which until recently was considered to be in the raccoon family."
Or if you slept through that here are "garlic and onion resources."
Or, if I hadn't typ-oed that last reach, something funny, (don't tell PJ's mom.)
Or, again, funny (opens with audio and involves Wood Nymphs and self reliance.)
More audio on outliving.

For the cat fiends
I heard an awful cat story today. One I may never be able to relate to anyone else ever. For those that love cats there is this with interesting links.
Oxygen
Bad for the ailing? Eat bacon and mayo sandwiches everyday if you want, whatever they think today they will reverse tomorrow.

Zoo Plague
RIP Spanky. Western U.S. plague may stem from an outbreak in San Fransisco (If I remember correctly from an interview I heard with this author, I believe on the old John Batchelor radio program, his op eds here) in the Victorian era. I once pet a wild chipmunk, it's true. CDC. LA. Camus's good book.
